The Servant of Two Masters By Carlo Goldoni Adapted by Neil Pankhurst One man, two bosses, endless laughter! Goldoni’s 250 year old commedia dell’arte masterpiece gets the play-within-a-play treatment in this hysterically funny modern adaptation! Join a modern theatre company as they present the tale of Truffaldino – a poor servant whose only wish is for one good, hot meal. He thinks lunch AND dinner may be on the menu when he accidentally accepts jobs from two different employers, neither of whom are exactly who they say they are. Truffaldino gets more than he bargained for when both of his bosses’ mysterious identities are discovered! |
