Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical
Book by Dennis Kelly; Music & Lyrics by Tim Minchin

Dahl’s fictional, youth-centered fantasies are well known for their appeal to adults, and Matilda the Musical is no exception. Like many of his characters, Matilda is drawn with vivid imagination and a sharp mind. She will need both (and more) to rise above taunts and belittlement of the adults in her life and break through to employ some extraordinary and inspiring power of her own. Anyone who’s dreamt of a better life and taken on the challenge will applaud her self-reliant drive and winning confidence. A smash hit, this multiple Tony and Olivier award-winning musical brings the beloved story to life and audiences to their feet
