A “fiercely gripping play.” - The New York Times
County Armagh, Northern Ireland, 1981. The Carney farmhouse is a hive of activity with preparations for the annual harvest. A day of hard work on the land and a traditional night of feasting and celebration lie ahead. But this year they will be interrupted by a visitor. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Play, it’s a powerful exploration of humanity’s resilience and the unspoken secrets of Ireland’s past. Performances: April 25-28 |
Cast List
We had an absolutely wonderful turnout for auditions and had some very difficult choices to make! A huge thank you to everyone who came out. If you didn't make it into this one please consider Roald Dahl's Matilda in the fall!
Despite the fabulous turnout we are still in need of a few more male-identifying actors who can pass for 13-20-ish. If you know someone or are interested yourself, please reach out to director Cory Lawson as soon as possible at cory_lawson@winniplayhouse.org.
