The Education Department Presents

Mr. Burns, a post-electric play
By Anne Washburn
Score by Michael Friedman
Lyrics by Anne Washburn

A tale of survival… and the enduring power of The Simpsons

In this dark comedy, a group of post-apocalyptic survivors make sense of an environment that no longer makes sense by recreating their vanished world through storytelling (some of it featuring Bart Simpson), turning the pop culture of our era into the mythology of the future.

Performed by students ages 13-18

Auditions: Monday Dec 4th, 6-9pm and Tuesday Dec 5th, 6-9pm.
You do NOT need to attend both days.

Callbacks: If needed callbacks will be held on Thursday December 7, 6-9pm.
