The class is for students ages 8-12 ONLY.
About the Class: Created to spark creativity and collaboration, this class invites students to step into the director’s chair. Designed by beloved Winnipesaukee Playhouse favorite Ms. Patte—who has been directing and leading summer camps for over 14 years--Act It Out guides young actors in working together to stage and bring to life a selection of favorite poems and short stories. Along the way, students will learn to see a scene from both an actor’s and a director’s perspective, gaining valuable skills in interpretation, staging, and teamwork.

Who is Eligible: The class is open to students ages 8-12.
Schedule: This class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-6pm at the Winnipesaukee Playhouse. A full class schedule is attached below.
Showcase Performance: The showcase performance will be during our final class on October 30th. The showcase begins at 5:30. Families and friends are invited to join us!
Commitment: It is, of course, preferred that each participant is available for every class. That said, we acknowledge that people have a lot going on and need to fit this class into already busy schedules.
Use of Images: Permission to use students’ images in promotional materials (including but not limited to all printed and digital publications in still or video format) is implicit in your agreement to participate in this class. Please note that participants’ photograph and/or video likeness is property of the Winnipesaukee Playhouse and may be edited, altered, exhibited, published, and distributed for the purpose of publicizing this or any other Playhouse program in perpetuity and that there will be no compensation of any kind for the use of these images.
Tuition: Tuition is $100 per participant.
