We are excited to once again welcome you to the Winnipesaukee Playhouse.  We have put in place strict regulations in accordance with or exceeding CDC and State of New Hampshire guidelines in order to provide the safest experience possible. We are asking you to partner with us to ensure that our patrons, staff, and performers stay healthy.

PURCHASING TICKETS
  1. For the time being, tickets are only available by calling the box office at (603) 279-0333.  This ensures that our trained box office staff can seat your party within proper social distancing guidelines.  If we are unable to pick up when you call, please leave a message and we will call you back as soon as possible.
  2. We will request an email address in order to send your tickets to you directly via email.  You can choose to print your tickets at home or show us your tickets on your phone when you arrive.
  3. During the pandemic, we are suspending our no refund policy.  If you are feeling unwell or have decided you are uncomfortable attending, we understand.  Please call us in advance to cancel your tickets and we will give you the option of a full refund, an exchange, or the ability to turn your purchase into a tax-deductible donation.  We will be unable to refund tickets once the performance has started.

ARRIVAL AT THE PERFORMANCE
  1. All patrons, staff, and volunteers must wear face coverings at all times on our campus including waiting in lines, being seated, watching the performance, and going to the restrooms.
  2. Please note that the bar will not be open in order to better ensure that masks are worn at all times within the lobby, reception area, and auditorium, and to assist with our one-way traffic pattern. We appreciate your understanding.
  3. Should you need to visit the box office, you can also do this via the outside walkup window.
  4. For outdoor performances, the theatre lobby should only be accessed for the purpose of using the restrooms. The deck doors will be propped open as will the entrance doors to the restrooms.  Our restrooms are outfitted entirely with no-touch fixtures.
  5. Before being seated your entire party will have a temperature check using a non-contact thermometer and each member of your party must answer “no” to the following questions before they enter the performance space:
  • Have you been in close contact with someone who is suspected or confirmed to have had COVID-19 in the last 14 days? (NOTE: Healthcare workers caring for COVID-19 patients while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment should answer “no” to this question)
  • Have you had a fever or felt feverish in the last 72 hours?
  • Are you experiencing any respiratory symptoms, including a runny nose, sore throat, cough, or difficulty breathing?
  • Are you experiencing any new muscle aches, significant tiredness, or chills?
  • Have you had any new changes in your sense of taste or smell?
  • Have you traveled in the past 14 days either:
             Internationally (outside the U.S.),
             By cruise ship, or
Domestically (within the U.S.) outside of NH, VT, MA, CT, RI, or ME on public transportation (e.g., bus, train, plane, etc.)?
If you answered “yes” to any of the above questions, we will not be able to seat you.

  6.     We ask you to sit in your designated seat only.  If there is a problem with your seat you must speak to a staff member rather than reseating yourself.

DURING THE PERFORMANCE
  1. All patrons are asked to keep their face coverings on when seated and watching the performance.
  2. The performer(s) will not be wearing a mask during the performance, however, per state guidelines, they will be appropriately distanced from the first row of patrons.
  3. Performances run approximately 90-120 minutes long and have no intermission.
  4. Patrons MAY NOT change seats during the performance.
  5. At the end of the performance, the audience will exit one row at a time at the direction of a staff member.
  6. Performers will be unable to greet patrons at the end of the performance.

GENERAL NOTES
  1. We will be thoroughly sanitizing all surfaces in the restrooms, lobby, and in the performance space before each performance and will have hand sanitizer available for your use.
  2. We will be adding germicidal UV lamps inside of our air conditioning ducts as well as polarized media filters to "scrub" the theatre air for our return to indoor performances.
  3. If you do not have your own face covering, we will provide one to you.
  4. These new policies and procedures are part of the NH State Guidelines for operating a performing arts venue, and therefore we are legally required to enforce them.
  5. Should any member of your party refuse to comply with any of these rules upon arrival or during the performance, we reserve the right to refuse service.
  6. While all reasonable precautions are being made to keep patrons and staff safe, please note that each patron is attending at their own risk. If you are part of a population vulnerable to COVID-19, or live with someone who is, we recommend not attending our performances.

Thank you for your understanding as we safely bring live theatre back to the Lakes Region!
