Class: THE CHARACTER WORKSHOP Age: 8-11 Instructor: Lindsey Bristol Price: $20 What makes a character stand out on stage? How do we find our own clues about characters in the script while still fitting into the director’s vision for the show? How can we shift our voices and bodies to make a believable, interesting new character? Can we make a character more interesting by adding a backstory that fits into the world of the show? These are all questions we will explore in the Character Workshop! Becoming a new character is one of the most fun parts of the creative process, and in this class, we will focus on tools that you can bring into any rehearsal room to make your performance pop! |
